On Friday night, April 30th, Earth & Soul Pottery will be hosting a benefit art sale to raise funds for projects and aid in Central America. 30% of proceeds from all Guatemalan products will go to the children of Casa Jackson- includes textile products, sculpture and more. Also, several local potters have contributed mugs to sell to raise money for Haiti aid efforts.
Come out for a good cause, with good people, and beautiful crafts.
Hop on the Holiday Stroll Shuttle and explore the whole neighborhood! The Shuttle is sponsored by Coffee by Design, and will make 6 stops around the East End throughout the day. The route includes stops in East Bayside (Maine Mead Works and Running with Scissors), on Washington Ave (Silly’s Restaurant), on top of Munjoy Hill (Benchmark Real Estate), on Congress Street (North Star Café) and on India Street (Coffee By Design). The shuttle wil run in both directions.
Several businesses will be set up as Warming Stations as well. Stop by for a special treat!

To enter the raffle, all you need to do is pick up a raffle card and visit 5 shops during the Holiday Stroll on Saturday. At each shop you’ll need to have a staffperson mark that you’ve been there. Once you have 5 marks on your raffle card, you can drop it off at the business of your choice to enter thier raffle. Each business will be raffling off their own prize, and each person can enter only one business’s raffle- so choose wisely!
This will be a great way to get some of your Christmas Shopping done, or get a special treat for yourself– with none of the guilt!
