Society for East End Artists Annual Studio TourThis Sunday is the 5th Annual Artists’ Studio Tour organized by the Society for East End Artists (SEA). On Sunday June 28th, artists around the neighborhood will open their studios to visitors. Many will have art for sale as well as demonstrations of their craft. You can download a map of the open studios as well as your “SEA Passport” at seaportland.org. If you get your passport stamped at 15 locations, you are entered into a raffle for many great prizes from local businesses including Rosemont Market, North Star Cafe, Coffee By Design and others.

While you are in the neighborhood, be sure to stop in some of the great shops nearby. Rabelais Books will be having a Sidewalk Sale on Sunday, and several other businesses will be open and have specials for the event.

Make yourself at home! The East End is just bursting with unique gifts and shopping, as well as some of the best eats in the City. We’ve also got music and theater to enjoy, art to see (or make!), great people to meet, trails to walk, and some of the best scenery around – all here east of Franklin Street in Portland Maine.

Have you seen the article in the Washington Post about the East End and Munjoy Hill? It features several of our favorite East Ends Shops, including the St. Lawrence Art Center, North Star Music Cafe, Duckfat, Rosemont Market and Bakery, Homegrown Herb and Tea, Angela Adams, and Eli Phant.
